This tutorial was translated with PSPX9 and PSP2020, but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,

Set your foreground color to chiaro #cad7ea,
and your background color to #2b4e59.



Set your foreground color to a Foreground/Background Gradient, style Rectangular.



1. Open a new transparent image 900 x 600 pixels.
Flood Fill the transparent image with your Gradient.

2. Effects>Distortion Effects>Twirl.



Effects>Plugins>Filters Unlimited 2.0 - &<Bkg Kaleidoscope> - Kaleidoscope 1,
default settings.



3. Selections>Select All.
Selections>Modify>Contract - 80 pixels.

Adjust>Blur>Radial Blur.



Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance.
Selections>Select None.

Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance.

Selections>Select None.

4. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection Sel 1-les 107



Flood Fill the selection with your Gradient.

Selections>Select None.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



5. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill the layer with your background color.

Layers>New Mask layer>From image
Open the menu under the source window and you'll see all the files open.
Select the mask Masker les 107_Pink.



Layers>Merge>Merge Group.

Set your foreground color to Color.
Flood Fill the selection with your foreground color.

Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow

Selections>Select None.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



10. Open the tube Tube les 107_Pink

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Move the tube againt the border.



11. Activate your bottom layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection Sel 3-les 107



Selections>Promote Selection to Layer.

Effects>PluginsAdjust - Variations
one click on Original to cancel any previous settings memorized by the filter,
3 clicks on More Red and ok.
(If you are using other colors, choose a color that matches yours)



Selections>Select None.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Hard Light.

12. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection Sel 4-les 107



Invert the colors of your Materials palette.
and set again your foreground color to the Rectangular Gradient



Flood Fill the selection with your Gradient.

Effects>Plugins>Plugins Galaxy - Grid



Selections>Select None.

13. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Mirror>Mirror horizontal.
Layers>Merge>Merge Down.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Hard Light (or according to your colors).

14. If you choose a butterfly tube yourself and want to adjust the colors,
I did that with the Change to Target Brush tool.
The size and opacity can be adjusted to your liking, just try out what you like.

Open the tube Tube Vlinder les 107

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Layers>Arrange>Bring to Top.

Effects>Image Effects>Offset.



Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



15. Open the text Tekst les 107

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Move the text at the top, as in my example,
or to your liking.

16. Image>Add Borders, 1 pixel, symmetric, color black.
Image>Add Borders, 25 pixels, symmetric, light foreground color (that now you have in the background color).
Image>Add Borders, 1 pixel, symmetric, color black.

17. Selections>Select All.

Image>Add Borders, 40 pixels, symmetric, whatever color.
Selections>Invert.

Keep your foreground color with the color 2 and the background color with the color 1



Change the settings of your foreground Gradient



Flood Fill the selection with your gradient.

18. Effects>Plugins>Plugins Galaxy - Grid.



19. Selections>Invert.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



Selections>Select None.

20. Sign your work on a new layer.

Layers>Merge>Merge All.
Resize, if you want, and save as jpg.
