This tutorial was translated with PSPX9 and PSP2020, but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.

You can change Blend Modes according to your colors.


In the newest versions of PSP, you don't find the foreground/background gradient (Corel_06_029).
You can use the gradients of the older versions.

Copy the presets in the folders of the plugin Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact>Settings>Backlight/Extrude.
One or two clic on the file (it depends by your settings), automatically the preset will be copied in the right folder.

Copy the preset Emboss 3 in the Presets Folder.
Copy the selections in the Selections Folder.

Open the mask in PSP and minimize it with the rest of the material.


Set your foreground color to #c2ae6a,
and your background color to black #000000.



Color 3: white #ffffff.

Set your foreground color to a Foreground/Background Gradient, style Radial.



1. Open a new transparent image 900 x 550 pixels.
Flood Fill the transparent image with your Gradient.

Set your foreground color to Color.
Flood Fill the selection with your foreground color.

Effects>Illumination Effects>Lights, default settings.



Keep still selected.

12. Layers>New Mask layer>From image
Open the menu under the source window and you'll see all the files open.
Select the mask Masker les 106_Pink.



Layers>Merge>Merge Group.

Selections>Select None.

13. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen More.

Reduce the opacity of this layer to 85%.

Activate your bottom layer.
Edit>Copy
Edit>Paste as new imae, and minimize this image: you'll use it later.

Go back to your work.
Layers>Merge>Merge visible.

14. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection Sel3 les 116



Set your foreground color to color 3 #ffffff.
Flood Fill the selection with your foreground color #ffffff.

Selections>Modify>Contract - 12 pixels.

Layers>New Raster Layer.

Open the tube Tube les 106_Pink

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste into Selection.

Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur - radius 25.



Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Hard Light.

15. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Edit>Paste into Selection (the tube is still in memory).

Layers>New Raster Layer.
Selections>Modify>Select Selection Border.



Flood Fill the selection with your background color.

Selections>Select None.

16. Close your bottom layer.

Layers>Merge>Merge visible.

Open your bottom layer and stay on the top layer, Merged.

Layers>Duplicate.
Activate the layer below of the original.

Image>Free Rotate - 9 degrees to right



Activate your top layer.
Layers>Merge>Merge Down.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



17. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection Sel4-les 106



Flood Fill the selection with your foreground color (color 3 #ffffff).
Selections>Select None.

18. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection Sel5 les 106



Set again your foreground color to the color 1 #c2ae6a
Flood Fill the selection with your foreground color.

Selections>Modify>Contract - 6 pixels.
Flood Fill the selection with your background color.

Selections>Modify>Contract - 6 pixels.
Flood Fill the selection with your foreground color.

Selections>Select None.

19. Effects>User Defined Filter - select the preset Emboss 3



Layers>Merge>Merge Down.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, same settings.

20. Activate the image you minimized at step 13.
Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Effects>Geometric Effects>Circle.



21. Image>Resize, to 25%, resize all layers not checked.

Selections>Select All.
Selections>Float.
Selections>Defloat.

Selections>Modify>Select Selection Borders, same settings.



Flood Fill the selection with your background color.
Selections>Select None.

select the preset Les 106_Pink
Basic: your foreground color.



23. Effects>Image Effects>Offset.



24. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Mirror>Mirror horizontal.

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Selections>Select All.
Image>Add Borders, 35 pixels, symmetric, background color.

Selections>Invert.

Effects>Plugins>AAA Frames - Foto Frame.



Edit>Repeat Foto Frame.
Selections>Select None.

27. Sign your work on a new layer.
Layers>Merge>Merge All.
Resize, if you want, and save as jpg.
