NAVIDAD ES NAVIDAD

Thanks Yedralina for your invitation to translate your tutorials into english
This tutorial was written with CorelX19 and translated with CorelX17, but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,
and Image>Flip with Image>Flip Vertical, there are some variables.
In versions X5 and X6, the functions have been improved by making available the Objects menu.
In the latest version X7 command Image>Mirror and Image>Flip returned, but with new differences.

You can change Blend Modes according to your colors.
In the newest versions of PSP, you don't find the foreground/background gradient (Corel_06_029).
You can use the gradients of the older versions.
The Gradient of CorelX here
Copy the Selections in the Selections Folder.
Open the mask in PSP and minimize it with the rest of the material.
Set your foreground color to #446174,
and your background color to white #ffffff.

Set your background color to a Foreground/Background Gradient, style Sunburst.

1. Open a new transparent image 950 x 650 pixels.
Flood Fill the transparent image with your Gradient.
2. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Selections>Select All.
Open your misted and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste into Selection.
Selections>Select None.
Effects>Image Effects>Seamless Tiling.

Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur - radius 10.

3. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill the layer with your white background color.
Layers>New Mask layer>From image
Open the menu under the source window and you'll see all the files open.
Select the mask smArt_mask_11.

Layers>Merge>Merge Group.
Effects>Plugins>Mura's Seamless - Emboss at Alpha, default settings.

4. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection ©Yedralina_Sel848.

Flood Fill the selection with your Gradient.
Edit>Paste into Selection (the misted is still in memory).
Selections>Invert.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color #ffffff,
shadow on a new layer checked.

Stay on the shadow layer:
Layers>Arrange>Move Up.
Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Dissolve.

Selections>Select None
Activate the layer below of the tube, Raster 3.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.

5. Activate the layer Raster 2.
Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection ©Yedralina_Sel849.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color white,
shadow on a new layer checked.

Stay on the shadow layer.
Layers>Arrange>Move Up.
Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Dissolve.

Selections>Invert.
Activate the layer above of the mask, Group Raster 3.

6. Open your main tube and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
for my example I used a misted, but it is not necessary;
if you prefer, you can use another type of tube
Layers>Arrange>Bring to Top.
Image>Resize, if necessary, for me to 120%, resize all layers not checked.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, at your choice.
(for my example I don't apply the Drop Shadow)
Move the tube to the left side, or at your choice.
for me, as it is a misted, I made:
Layers>Duplicate.
Layers>Merge>Merge Down.
7. Image>Add borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, foreground color.
Image>Add borders, 10 pixels, symmetric, color white.
Image>Add borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, foreground color.
Image>Add borders, 50 pixels, symmetric, color white.
Image>Add borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, foreground color.
Effects>Plugins>AAA Frames - Foto Frame.

8. Open the deco tube and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
If you use, as in my example, the tree by klipartz:
Image>Resize, 2 times to 60% and 2 times to 90%, resize all layers not checked.
Image>Mirror.
Effects>Plugins>Mura's Seamless - Emboss at alpha, default settings.

Move the tube to the right side.
Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Screen.

9. Open the text - Text_NavidadEsNavidad©Yedralina - and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
If you want to write your own text, you will find the font used in the material:
Font Lavender Regular, size 72, background color white
Apply the Effect Emboss at Alpha to the text, default settings.
10. Image>Resize, 1000 pixels width, resize all layers checked.
Sign your work on a new layer.
If you don't want to make the animation: Layers>Merge>Merge All and save as jpg.
If you want to make the animation, don't merge the layers,
and activate the layer of the Christmas Tree, or of the deco you used.
1. Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation
Settings: Bling Bling with these settings:

don't worry if the tube appears with its original colors.
Remember, you have this layer in Screen mode, so with these settings, the effect will still appear.
Edit>Copy Special>Copy Merged.
Open Animation Shop and go to Edit>Paste>Paste as new animation.
2. Go back to PSP.
Edit>Undo Constellation.
Repeat Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation same settings, but click 1 fois on Random Seed.
Edit>Copy Special>Copy Merged.
Go back to Animation Shop and go to Edit>Paste>Paste after the current frame.
3. Repeat the step 2 two times,
and you'll get in Animation Shop an animation composed by 4 frames.
Edit>Select All.
Animation>Frame Properties and set at your choice.
(remember that if you increase the value, the animation is slower;
I kept the setting at 10).
Check the result clicking on View animation
and save as gif.
