This tutorial was written with CorelX19 and translated with CorelX17, but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,
and Image>Flip with Image>Flip Vertical, there are some variables.
In versions X5 and X6, the functions have been improved by making available the Objects menu.
In the latest version X7 command Image>Mirror and Image>Flip returned, but with new differences.

For this tutorial, you will need:

You can change Blend Modes according to your colors.

In the newest versions of PSP, you don't find the foreground/background gradient (Corel_06_029).
You can use the gradients of the older versions.
The Gradient of CorelX here

Choose two color from your landscape misted.
For my example:
foreground color #42494e,
background color #ddd6c3.



Set your background color to a Foreground/Background Gradient, style Linear.



1. Open Canal alpha_BrillosDeNavidad.
Window>Duplicate or, on the keyboard, shift+D to make a copy.



Close the original.
The copy, that will be the basis of your work, is not empty,
but contains the selections saved on the alpha channel.

Flood Fill the transparent image with your Gradient.

2. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
The selection #1 is immediately available.
You just have to click Load.



Flood Fill the selection with your Gradient.

Selections>Modify>Contract - 30 pixels.
Edit>Cut (to keep the image in memory).

Selections>Modify>Contract - 15 pixels.
Edit>Paste Into Selection.

Selections>Modify>Contract - 15 pixels.
Press CANC on the keyboard
Selections>Select None.

Effects>Plugins>Mura's Meister - Copies.



Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



3. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Resize, to 80%, resize all layers not checked.

Image>Mirror.

Objects>Align>Left



Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Mirror.
Layers>Merge>Merge Down - 2 times.

Effects>Plugins>AAA Filters - Custom - click on Prewitt and ok.



Image>Mirror.
Image>Flip.

4. Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
Open the Selections menu and load the selection #2.



Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur - radius 25.



6. Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
Open the Selections menu and load the selection #3.



Flood Fill the selection with your Gradient.
Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance More.
Selections>Select None.

6. Open the misted and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Place rightly the tube



7. Activate the bottom layer Raster 1.

Effects>Plugins>L&K's - L&K's Katharina, default settings.



Effects>Plugins>L&K's - L&K's Zitah, default settings.



Effects>Edge Effects>Dilate.

Effects>Image Effects>Seamless Tiling



Effects>Plugins>AAA Frames - Foto Frame.



8. Activate the top layer.

Open the woman tube and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Image>Resize, 1 time to 80% and 1 time to 95%, resize all layers not checked.
Move the tube to the right side.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, at your choice.

9. Open the deco tube and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Move the tube at the bottom left.

10. Image>Add borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, dark color.

Image>Resize, 1000 pixels width, resize all layers checked.

Optional: Effects>Plugins>AAA Filters - Custom, click on Landscape and ok.



11. Sign your work on a new layer.

Layers>Merge>Merge All and save as jpg.
