This tutorial was written with CorelX19 and translated with CorelX and CorelX17, but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,
and Image>Flip with Image>Flip Vertical, there are some variables.
In versions X5 and X6, the functions have been improved by making available the Objects menu.
In the latest version X7 command Image>Mirror and Image>Flip returned, but with new differences.

You can change Blend Modes according to your colors.

Copy the preset in the folder of the plugin Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact/Settings>Gradient Glow
One or two clic on the file (it depends by your settings), automatically the preset will be copied in the right folder.

Copy the selection in the Selections Folder.


Open the mask in PSP and minimize it with the rest of the material.

1. Set your foreground color to the light color #cdcc69,
set your background color with the dark color #52511c.



2. Open a new transparent image 950 x 650 pixels.

3. Effects>Plugins>Mehdi - Wavy lab 1.1
this plugin works with your materials:
the first is the background color, the second is the foreground color;
keep the other two colors created by the plugin.



4. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill with your dark color.

5. Effects>Texture Effects>Weave - the two colors: white.



6. In order to eliminate the white zones:



Effects>Plugins>Transparency - Eliminate White
Result



7. Effects>Plugins>Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Toadies - What are you, default settings.
attention,please; the result of this plugin is different according to the used version.
For this tutorial I used the Unlimited version that doesn't need installation
and it is composed by files 8bf (you can find it here)

8. Repeat the plugins another time.

9. Effects>Plugins>AFS IMPORT - sqborder2.



10. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Luminance (legacy).

11. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Resize, to 50%, resize all layers not checked.

12. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



13. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Overlay.



14. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Resize, to 50%, resize all layer not checked.
Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance.

15. Effects>Image Effects>Offset.



Keep the Blend Mode of this layer to Overlay.



16. Layers>New Raster Layer.

17. Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection ©Yedralina_sel 257.



Flood Fill the selection with your dark color.

18. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Open the misted and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste into Selection.
Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen.

19. Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow
select the preset EC5_GG02-©Yedralina and ok.
Here the settings, in case of problems with the preset.



Selections>Select None.

20. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Resize, to 50%, resize all layers not checked.

21. Effects>Image Effects>Offset.



22. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Overlay.



23. Activate the bottom layer.

24. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill with your light color.

25. Layers>New Mask layer>From image
Open the menu under the source window and you'll see all the files open.
Select the mask Francesca mask2



Layers>Merge>Merge group.

26. Image>Mirror.

27. Effects>Image Effects>Seamless Tiling.



28. Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance.
Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Screen, or as you like.



29. Selections>Select All.
Image>Add borders, 40 pixels, symmetric, dark color.

30. Selections>Invert.

Selections>Modify>Select Selection Border.



31. Selections>Invert.
Flood Fill the selection with your light color.



Selections>Select None.

32. Image>Resize, 950 pixels width, resize all layers checked.

33. Open the tube of your tree and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Image>Resize, if it is necessary, resize all layers not checked.

34. Place the tube as you like.

If it is necessary, K key to activate the Pick tool
and use the nodes to extend the tube.

Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen.

35. Image>Negative Image (according to your tube).

36. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



37. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Overlay.

38. Open the text Text_Navidad2016©Yedralina and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Move the tube in the lower left.

For me: Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (legacy).

39. Sign your work and save as jpg.
