This tutorial was written with CorelX18 and translated with CorelX, CorelX17 and CorelX18, but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,
and Image>Flip with Image>Flip Vertical, there are some variables.
In versions X5 and X6, the functions have been improved by making available the Objects menu.
In the latest version X7 command Image>Mirror and Image>Flip returned, but with new differences.

You can change Blend Modes according to your colors.

In the newest versions of PSP, you don't find the foreground/background gradient or Corel:06_029.
You can use the gradient of the previous versions.
You find here the CorelX Gradients.

Copy the preset Emboss 3 in the Presets Folder.

Place the brush in Brush folder. Attention, please, the brush is composed by two files, you must place both the files in the folder.

In the newest versions of PSP, you don't find many tools of the old versions.
If you don't get the texture Corel_15_038, copy the texture supplied in the Textures Folder.

Copy the selections in the Selections Folder.
Open the mask in PSP and minimize it with the rest of the material.

My colors (3 colors choosen by the misted).



1. Set your foreground color to dark color #363d33
set your background color to light color #889b6d.



Set your foreground color to a Foreground/Background Gradient, style Linear.



2. Open a new transparent image 950 x 650 pixels, background Gradient.
Right clic on the material palette and clic on the gradient little palette to set gradient as background.



3. Effects>Texture Effects>Texture
select the texture Corel_15_038, with these settings.



4. Open your tube and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

5. Effects>Image Effects>Seamless Tiling.



6. Adjust>Blur>Gaussian blur - radius 25.



7. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill with your Background color.

8. Layers>New Mask layer>From image
Open the menu under the source window and you'll see all the files open.
Select the mask Narah_Mask_0951.



Layers>Merge>Merge Group.

Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance.

9. Image>Mirror>Mirror Horizontal.
with the previous versions: Image>Mirror

Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance.

Change the Blend mode of this layer to Screen.



10. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection ©yedralina_sel197.



Flood Fill the selection with your Gradient.

Selections>Select None.

11. Effects>Plugins>Toadies - What are you, default settings.



12. Effects>Reflection Effects>Feedback.



Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance.

13. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Soft Light.



14. Edit>Paste as new layer (your tube is still in memory).

Image>Resize, as you like, for me 85%, resize all layers not checked.

Change the opacity of this layer to 25%.

15. Open the text dekor3, Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Image>Resize, to 115%, resize all layers not checked.

16. Objects>Align>Left.
Objects>Align>Top.

with the previous versions:
Move the text at the top left.



17. Image>Negative Image.
with PSP 9: Adjust>Colour Balance>Negative Image
Change the Blend mode of this layer to Overlay.

18. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Mirror>Mirror Horizontal.
Objects>Align>Bottom.

with the previous versions:
Image>Mirror
Move the text at the bottom right.

19. Layers>Merge>Merge down.
Change the opacity of this layer to 48%.



20. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Set your foreground color to Color.

Activate the Paint Brush tool
look for and select the brush 607057df, size 950



apply the brush in the middle, left clic to use your dark foreground color.



If your PSP don't let to use brushes over 500 pixels,
apply the brush at the maximum size and after extend it with the Pick tool



21. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, with the third color #c8b2a4.



22. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selecion ©yedralina_sel209.



23. Edit>Copy Special>Copy Merged.

24. Selections>Modify>Contract - 40 pixels.
Edit>Paste into Selection.

25. Selections>Invert.

Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Perspective Shadow,
select the preset Drop Shadow,Lowest and ok.



for my exemple I prefered Drop Shadow Blurry

Selections>Select None.

26. Image>Resize, to 80%, resize all layers not checked.

27. Effects>Reflection Effects>Feedback, same settings.



28. Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selecion ©yedralina_sel210.



Press CANC on the keyboard
Selections>Select None.

29. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Flip>Flip horizontal.

with the previous versions:
Image>Miroir
and move the image over the original



30. Effects>Image Effects>Décalage.



31. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Mirror>Mirror Vertical.
Image>Flip>Flip Vertical.

with the previous versions:
Layers>Duplicate.
Effects>Image Effects>Offset.



You should have this.



33. Layers>Merge>Merge down - 2 times.

Effects>User defined Filter - select the preset Emboss 3 and ok.



34. This should be your layers palette.



35. Activate the tube layer - raster 4.
Layers>Arrange>Bring to top.
Image>Resize, to 115%, resize all layers not checked.
Set again the opacity of the layer to 100.

Move the tube at the top right, see my example.

36. Activate the bottom layer.
Edit>Copy.

37. Image>Add borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, dark foreground color.
Selections>Select All.

Image>Add border, 40 pixels, symmetric, don't matter the color.

Selections>Invert.
Edit>Paste into Selection.

39. Activate again the Paint Brush tool
change the size of the brush 607057df to 1035,



and apply the brush with your dark foreground color.

if your PSP don't let to use brushes over 500 pixels,
or, until the version X17, over 1000 pixels,
apply the brush 2-3 time on the selection.

40. Image>Mirror>Mirror Horizontal.
Selections>Invert.

41. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



Selections>Select None.

42. Image>Resize, 950 pixels width, resize all layers checked.

Sign your work.
Layers>Merge>Merge All.

43. Optional
Effects>Plugins>AAA Filters - Custom, clic on Landscape and ok.



Save as jpg.
