This tutorial was written with CorelX19 and translated with CorelX and CorelX17, but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,
and Image>Flip with Image>Flip Vertical, there are some variables.
In versions X5 and X6, the functions have been improved by making available the Objects menu.
In the latest version X7 command Image>Mirror and Image>Flip returned, but with new differences.

You can change Blend Modes according to your colors.

In the newest versions of PSP, you don't find the foreground/background gradient (Corel_06_029).
You can use the gradients of the older versions.

Copy the selections in the Selections Folder.


1. Set your foreground color to the dark color #03152d,
set your background color with the light color #ffffff.



Set your foreground color to foreground/background Gradient, style Sunburst.



2. Open a new transparent image 950 x 650 pixels,
Flood Fill with your gradient.

3. Activate the Magic Wand tool , tolerance and feather 0,
clic in the gradient black color



4. Selections>Invert.
Selections>Promote selection to layer.

5. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Overlay.



6. Activate the Gradient layer - Raster 1.
Press CANC on the keyboard



Selections>Select None.

7. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Selections>Select All.

Open the background image "Imagen 5" - Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste into Selection.
Selections>Select None.

8. Optional: Image>Mirror.

9. Effects>Plugins>Transparency - Eliminate Black.
The Plugins doesn't get window: Result



10. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Dodge



11. Edit>Copy.
Edit>Paste as new image and work on this image:
Image>Mirror.
Image>Flip.
Minimize the image: you'll use it later.

12. Go back to your work.
Layers>New Raster layer.

13. Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection sel235.



Change the settings of your Gradient, style Linear.



Flood Fill the selection with your gradient.

14. Selections>Modify>Contract - 10 pixels.
Press CANC on the keyboard.
Selections>Select None.

15. Image>Resize, to 85%, resize all layers not checked.

16. Effects>Plugins>Mura's Meister - Copies.



17. Image>Mirror.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



Layers>Arrange>Move up.

18. Layers>New Raster layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection sel243.



19. Set your foreground color to Color.
Flood Fill the selection with your dark foreground color.

20. Effects>Plugins>AAA Filters - Custom
Clic on Landscape and set your colors according to your image.
For me Highlights 4 Blue 50



21. Selections>Modify>Contract - 25 pixels.

22. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Activate the image minimized at step 11 - Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste into Selection.

23. Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance.

24. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Screen, or as your prefer.



25. Selections>Invert.

Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Perspective Shadow.
Select the preset Drop Shadow Blurry and ok.



26. Selections>Invert.
Layers>Merge>Merge down.

27. Selections>Modify>Select Selection Borders.



28. Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Chrome.
select the preset City outside and ok.



(you can colorize the bord as you prefer, according to your colors:
Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Colorise...).

29. Selections>Select None.

30. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



31. Layers>Merge>Merge down.

32. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



33. Effects>Image Effects>Offset.



34. Activate the bottom layer, Raster 1.



35. Effects>Plugins>Cybia - Screenworks - Point Array



36. Image>Add borders, 1 pixel, symmetric, dark color.
Iamge>Add borders, 2 pixel, symmetric, light color.

37. Selections>Select All.
Edit>Copy.

38. Image>Add borders, 50 pixels, symmetric, dark color or black.
Selections>Invert.

Edit>Paste into Selection.

39. Adjust>Blur>Gaussian blur - radius 10.



40. Image>Mirror.
Selections>Invert.

41. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



Selections>Select None.

42. Open your tube - Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Image>Resize, according to your tube (for me 120%), resize all layers not checked.
Move the tube to the right side, see my example.

43. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



44. Open the text Butterfly - Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Place the text as in my example.

45. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



46. Image>Add borders, 1 pixel, symmetric, dark color or black.

47. Sign your work on a new layer.

48. Layers>Merge>Merge all.

Image>Resize, 950 pixels width, resize all layers checked.

Save as jpg.
