This tutorial was written with PSPX8 and translated with PSPX7 and PSPX3, but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,
and Image>Flip with Image>Flip Vertical, there are some variables.
In versions X5 and X6, the functions have been improved by making available the Objects menu.
In the latest version X7 command Image>Mirror and Image>Flip returned, but with new differences.

You can change Blend Modes according to your colors.



Copy the script in the Scripts Trusted Folder.

If you have problems with alpha channel,
open a new transparent image 900 x 600 pixels,
and use the selection from disk.

Set your foreground color to light color #ffe9c3,
and your background color to red color #bc4936.



1. Open canal alpha_santa claus This image, that will be the basis of your work, is not empty,
but contains the selections saved to alpha channel.

2. Selections>Select All.
Open the background image Fond histoire noel

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste into Selection.
Selections>Select None.

if you want, you can modify the colors:
for example: flood fill with one of your colors,
Layers>New Raster Layer.
Paste your background image into selection.
Change the Blend Mode of the layer to your liking

3. Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
The selection Sélection #1 is immediately available. You just have to click Load.



Selections>Promote Selection to layer.
Keep selected.

4. Layers>New Raster Layer.

SelectionsModify>Select Selection Borders.



Flood Fill the selection with your light foreground color #ffe9c3.

Effects>Texture Effects>Blinds - background color #bc4936.



Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Glass.
Select the preset Clear no drop shadow and ok.



Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



Selections>Select None.

5. Activate the layer below, Promoted Selection.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
Load again the selection Sélection 1



Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur - radius 15.



Effects>Distortion Effects>Pixelate.



Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance More.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Soft Light.
Selections>Select None.

6. Open the visage 15122013es6

Erase the watermark and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Move the tube at the upper left.



Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
Load again the selection sélection 1, Invert Image checked.



If necessary, reposition your misted with your Move Tool

Press CANC on the keyboard
Selections>Select None.

On your next selection, don't forget to uncheck Invert Image.

7. Activate your top layer.
Open the Santa tube 13508436236_noel nikita

Erase the watermark and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Image>Resize, to 80%, resize all layers not checked.

K key to activate your Pick Tool
and set Position X: 484,00 and Position Y: 52,00.



Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



8. Open the baby's tube 1Kerst

Erase the watermark and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Pick Tool
and set Position X: 58,00 and Position Y: 219,00.



Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, same settings.



9. Open the tube déco snow

Erase the watermark and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Layers>Arrange>Move down - 3 times (under the frame layer)



10. Open the tube Tineke's tubes-185

Erase the watermark and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Image>Resize, to 80%, resize all layers not checked.

Pick Tool
and set Position X: 424,00 and Position Y: -14,00.



Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



Erase the part of the tube outside the frame
(load alpha channel selection 2, if needed)



Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, red background color.



11. Open the tube étoiles

Erase the watermark and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Overlay.

12. If you don't see the Script Bar:
View>Toolbars>Script

Open the menu and select the script santa
Click on the arrow to run the script.



If you want to change the colors, activate the Toogle Execution Mode,
by clicking on the corresponding icon.



A window will open at each step, change the color and continue.

When the filter window appears, check the settings
(if you have used the filter before, the script remembers the previous settings).

13. Open WA_Santa

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Move the text down, as in my example, or to your liking.

14. Sign your work on a new layer.

Add, if you want, the author's watermark (to put in Soft Light Mode),
without forgetting to add the translator's watermark too.

15. Layers>Merge>Merge All.
Image>Resize, 950 pixels width, resize all layers checked.

Save as jpg.
