This tutorial was written with PSPX8 and translated with PSPX7 and PSPX3, but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,
and Image>Flip with Image>Flip Vertical, there are some variables.
In versions X5 and X6, the functions have been improved by making available the Objects menu.
In the latest version X7 command Image>Mirror and Image>Flip returned, but with new differences.

You can change Blend Modes according to your colors.



1. Set your foreground color to #afafae,
and your background color to #363535.



If you have problems with alpha channel,
open a new transparent image 950 x 550 pixels,
and use the selections from disk.

2. Open canal alpha Gothic Lady
This image, that will be the basis of your work, is not empty,
but contains the selections saved to alpha channel.

Flood Fill the transparent image with your background color.

Selections>Select All.
Open the landscape Kahlan and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste into Selection.
Selections>Select None.

3. Effects>Image Effects>Seamless Tiling, default settings.



Effects>Plugins>Mehdi - Sorting Tiles.



Effects>Distortion Effects>Warp



4. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
The selection sélection #1 is immediately available. You just have to click Load.



Effects>Plugins>Mura's Seamless - Checks, default settings.



Selections>Select None.

5. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Effects>Plugins>Mura's Seamless - Checks, same settings.

Effects>Plugins>Mura's Meister - Perspective Tiling.



Layers>Duplicate.
Layers>Merge>Merge Down.

Activate your Magic Wand Tool feather 30
and click in the transparent part to select it.

Press 4 fois CANC on the keyboard
Selections>Select None.

(don't forget to set again the feather to 0)

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



6. Activate your bottom layer, Raster 1.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
Open the Selections menu and load the selection sélection #2



Selections>Promote Selection to Layer.
Layers>Arrange>Bring to Top.

Adjust>Blur>Gaussian blur - radius 10.



7. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Edit>Paste into Selection (the landscape Kaglan is still in memory).
Selections>Select None.

Effects>Plugins>FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss, default settings.



Layers>Duplicate.
Layers>Merge>Merge Down.

8. Activate the layer below.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
Open the Selections menu and load the selection sélection #3



Press 2 times CANC on the keyboard.
Selections>Select None.

Effects>Distortion Effects>Wind - from left, strength 15.



Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, same settings.



9. Activate the second layer from bottom, Raster 2.



Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
Open the Selections menu and load the selection sélection #4



Set your background color to black #000000.
Flood Fill the layer with color black.

Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Extrude - color black.



Selections>Select None.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, same settings.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
Open the Selections menu and load the selection sélection #5



Press CANC on the keyboard.
Selections>Select None.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Soft Light and reduce the opacity to 60%.



10. Activate your bottom layer, Raster 1.

Effects>Plugins>VM Natural - Speed, default settings



11. Activate your top layer.

Open déco arbres and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

K key to activate your Pick Tool
and set Position X: 472,00 and Position Y: 145,00.



12. Activate the layer below.

Open déco fenêtre and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Image>Resize, to 70%, resize all layers not checked.

Set Position X: 521,00 and Position Y: 4,00.



M key to deselect the Tool.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Soft Light.

Adjust>Brightness and Contrast>Brightness and Contrast.



13. Activate the layer below.

Layers>New Raster Layer.

Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel.
Open the Selections menu and load the selection sélection #6



Open the second misted DarkFantasy00001_VioletVixenMist
Image>Mirror.
Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste into Selection.

Reduce the opacity of this layer to 60%.

Selections>Select None.



14. Activate your top layer.

Open the tube of the crow b4af30c2 and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Image>Resize, to 30%, resize all layers not checked.

Pick Tool
and set Position X: 691,00 and Position Y: 410,00.



M key to deselect the Tool.
Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen, if necessary.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



15. Activate the layer Raster 1.

Edit>Copy

16. Image>Add borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, color black.
Image>Add borders, 5 pixels, symmetric, foreground color.
Image>Add borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, color black.
Image>Add borders, 10 pixels, symmetric, foreground color.

17. Activate your Magic Wand Tool
and click on the 10 pixels border to select it.

Edit>Paste into Selection.

Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen More.
Selections>Select None.

18. Select the 5 pixels border with your Magic Wand Tool

Effects>Texture Effects>Tiles - color black.



Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen More.

Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Extrude, same settings
(change the color if you want)



Selections>Select None.

19. Open the text titre and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Move the text to the left side.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Soft Light (or according to your colors).
Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen.

20. Open the woman tube 13186826024_gothic_nikita and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Image>Resize, to 65%, resize all layers not checked.

Move the tube a little further to the left.



Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color black.



21. Open déco coins and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Don't move it.

22. Sign your work on a new layer.
Add the author and translator's watermarks, if you want.

23, Image>Add borders, 1 pixel, symmetric, color black.

Image>Resize, 950 pixels width, resize all layers checked.

Adjust>Sharpness>Unsharp Mask - Soft
