This tutorial was translated with PSPX, PSPX2, PSPX3, but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,
and Image>Flip with Image>Flip Vertical, there are some variables.
In versions X5 and X6, the functions have been improved by making available the Objects menu.
In the latest version X7 command Image>Mirror and Image>Flip returned, but with new differences.

In the newest versions of PSP, you don't find the foreground/background gradient (Corel_06_029).
You can use the gradients of the older versions.

Copy the Selections in the Selections Folder.

Open the masks in PSP and minimize them with the rest of the material.

1. Choose 2 colors from your tube.
Set your foreground color to light color,
and your background color to dark color.



Open a new transparent image 1000 x 650 pixels,
Flood Fill the transparent image with your light color.

Layers>New Raster Layer.
Selections>Select All.

Open the background image 66e6782076d649...

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste into Selection.
Selections>Select None.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Luminance (legacy).
Layers>Merge>Merge Down.

Effects>Image Effects>Seamless Tiling, default settings.



2. Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur - radius 30.

weave color: dark color
gap color: light color.



Selections>Modify>Select Selection Borders.



4. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill the layer with your dark color.

Edit>Paste into Selection (your background image is still in memory).

Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Glass.
Glass Color: your dark color



Selections>Select None.

6. Layers>Arrange>Move Up.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop shadow.





Layers>Merge>Merge Down - 3 times.

Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Mirror.

Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Resize, to 75%, resize all layers not checked.

K key to activate your Pick Tool
and set Position X: 535,00 and Position Y: 125,00.





7. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Mirror.

Layers>Merge>Merge Down - 3 times.

Activate the layer Raster 1.



Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Disk.
Look for and load the selection love-my-cat-2



Selections>Promote Selection to Layer.

Effects>Plugins>[AFS IMPORT] - sqborder2, default settings.



8. Effects>Plugins>AAA Frames - Foto Frame.



Selections>Select None.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow.

Activate again the layer Raster 1.



Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill the layer with your dark color.

9. Layers>New Mask layer>From image
Open the menu under the source window and you'll see all the files open.
Select the mask Narah_mask_0569



Layers>Merge>Merge Group.

Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Mirror.
Layers>Merge>Merge Down.

Effects>Image Effects>Seamless Tiling, default settings.



Effects>Plugins>Mura's Seamless - Emboss at Alpha, default settings.



Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill the layer with your light color.

Layers>New Mask layer>From image
Open the menu under the source window
and select the mask Narah_Mask_0951



Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance.
Layers>Merge>Merge Group.

10. Activate again your background image.

Layers>New Mask layer>From image
Open the menu under the source window
and select the mask 20-20.



Layers>Merge>Merge Group.

Edit>Copy.

Go back to your work.

Layers>New Raster Layer.
Selections>Select All.
Edit>Paste into Selection.
Selections>Select None.

Reduce the opacity of this layer to 50%.
Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen.

Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill the layer with your light color.

12. Layers>New Mask layer>From image
Open the menu under the source window,
and select the mask Narah_Mask_0981



Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance.
Layers>Merge>Merge Group.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow.



Activate the layer Raster 1.
Layers>Duplicate.

Layers>Arrange>Move up - 2 times.

Effects>Plugins>Mura's Meister - Perspective Tiling.



Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, same settings.



13. Image>Add borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, dark color.
Image>Add borders, 3 pixels, symmetric, light color.
Image>Add borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, dark color.
Image>Add borders, 3 pixels, symmetric, light color.

Selections>Select All.

Image>Add borders, 50 pixels, symmetric, dark color.
Selections>Invert.

14. Effects>Plugins>[AFS IMPORT] - sqborder2, default settings.



Effects>Plugins>AAA Frames - Foto Frame.



Selections>Select All.
Selections>Modify>Contract - 20 pixels.
Selections>Invert.

Set your foreground color to a Foreground/Background Gradient, style Linear.



Flood Fill the selection with your Gradient.

Selections>Invert.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow.



Selections>Select None.

15. Open your tube and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Image>Resize, if necessary, resize all layers not checked.

Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, same settings.

Open the text

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

K key to activate your Pick Tool
and set Position X: 14,00 and Position Y: 71,00.



Layers>Merge>Merge All.

Image>Add borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, light color.

Image>Resize, 1050 pixels width, resize all layers checked.

If necessary, Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen.
Sign your work and save as jpg, if you don't want to realize the animation.

16. For the animation:
Layers>Duplicate - 2 times and stay on the top layer.

Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation.



On the same layers repeat the Filter, clicking one time on Random Seed.

Activate the layer below of the first copy.

Repeat the filter Constellation 2 times, clicking always on Random Seed.

Activate the bottom layer of the original,
and repeat two times the filter Constellation, clicking every time on Random Seed.

Save your work as Animation Shop (*.psp).



Open Animation Shop and open the image you saved.

And you'll get an animation composed by 3 frames.

Check the result clicking on View Animation
and save as gif.
