This tutorial was written with CorelX17 and translated with CorelX3, but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,
and Image>Flip with Image>Flip Vertical, there are some variables.
In versions X5 and X6, the functions have been improved by making available the Objects menu.
In the latest version X7 command Image>Mirror and Image>Flip returned, but with new differences.

You can change Blend Modes according to your colors.

In the newest versions of PSP, you don't find the foreground/background gradient (Corel_06_029).
You can use the gradients of the older versions.
The Gradient of CorelX here

Copy the Selection in the Selection Folder.

1. Set your foreground color to #98120c,
set your background color to #d61d1e.



Set your foreground color to Gradient and select the Fading Background Gradient, style Radial.



2. Open a new transparent image 850 x 550 pixels.
Flood Fill the transparent image with your Gradient.

3. Set your Foreground color to Fading Foreground Gradient, same settings, but Invert not checked



Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill the layer with your new Gradient.

4. Effects>Distortion Effects>Polar Coordinates.



5. Effets>Modules Externes>Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Alf's Border FX - Border Circular Fade, default settings.



6. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, background color #d61d1e.



7. Repeat Drop Shadow, color white #ffffff.



8. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Hard Light.



9. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Layers>Arrange>Send to Bottom.
Flood Fill the layer with your background color #d61d1e.

10. Activate the layer Raster 1.

Effects>Texture Effects>Weave
weave color: #000000 - gap color #c5b8aa.



11. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Hard Light.



12. Activate the top layer Raster 2.
Open the tube KTs_WordArtNoel_48 and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Don't moke it.

13. Effects>Image Effects>Offset.



14. Stay on this layer.
Open the tube lizztish_christmas-lights1 and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Don't moke it.

15. Effects>Image Effects>Offset.



16. Layers>Merge>Merge visible.

Effects>3D Effects>Buttonize.



17. Image>Add borders, 30 pixels, symmetric, color #ffffff.
Image>Add borders, 5 pixels, symmetric, background color #d61d1e.

18. Adjust>One Step Photo Fix.

19. Open the tube angeledesign_bonhomme_neige3 and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Erase the watermark.
Image>Resize, to 41%, resize all layers not checked.

Move the tube to the left side, over the bord.

20. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color #d61d1e.



21. Sign your work on a new layer.
little note about the watermark:
I don't ask to put watermark on the versions made by my translations.
But if you decide to use the watermark of the author, I would appreciate that my work as translator was also respected.
For that, I added my watermark in material.

22. Layers>Merge>Merge All.

23. Effects>Plugins>VanDerLee - Snowflakes
if you use the previous version (the result doesn't change):
Effects>Plugins>VDL Adrenaline - Snowflakes



24. Save as jpg.

25. If you want animate your work:
1. Copy your work: Edit>Copy.
Open Animation Shop and go to Edit>Paste>Paste as new animation.

2. Go back to PSP.
Edit>Undo Snowflakes.

Effects>Plugins>VanDerLee - Snowflakes, change Random Seed to 10 et ok



3. Edit>Copy.
Go back to Animation Shop and go to Edit>Paste>Paste after current frame.

4. Again go back to PSP.
Effects>Plugins>VanDerLee - Snowflakes, change Random Seed to 15 et ok



5. Edit>Copy.
Go back to Animation Shop and go to Edit>Paste>Paste after current frame.

6. Edit>Select All.
Animation>Frame Properties - and set Display time to 20.



Check your result clicking on View animation
and save as gif.
